Odalisca (2021)
Inspired by the languid poses of women painted by Ingres and Delacroix, the choreography seeks to reveal the sensuality that emerges from the dancing male body. It unfolds on a music of John Cage, Eight Whiskus, of which a version remixed by Sutja Guitterez with the voice of Joan La Barbara, and another entrusted to the violin with Aisha Orazbayeva. The whole choreography is made of multiple visual and musical layers, and summons impulsive sensibilities.
