Julien Brun is a multifaceted stage designer, in turn scenographer, lighting designer, director and designer of temporary architecture. He graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada, developing his personal research project and artistic exploration as well as numerous collaborations with directors, artistic directors and creators from Europe and North America. He participated in the creation of visual universes for opera, dance, theatre and circus projects, the creation of multidisciplinary stage works with his own company, artistic consulting for cultural events, and teaching. He has collaborated with the Conservatoire National Supérieur d'Art Dramatique de Paris, the Opéra Comique, the Festival d'opéra de Québec, the Société des arts technologiques de Montréal, Folkwang University of Essen, the Goethe Institute of Kuala Lumpur, the Musée d'Orsay, the Festival international d'art lyrique d'Aix-en-Provence and the Swiss Cully Classique festival.
