In 2020, Louise Bédard Dance Company is celebrating its 30th anniversary. Louise Bédard is recognized as one of the important figures of Quebec’s choreographic landscape and has received many awards such as Performer of the year in 2018, given by the Prix de la danse de Montréal. Among the multiple original shows under her belt, she has presented La Démarquise in 2016, a tribute to the «feminine being» with the help of five female dancers. Since then, other pieces have been presented such as Vu-Vibrations urbaines, Tout près du souffle, Elle erre dans le songe,  il respire ailleurs.

Four renowned artists support the company’s activities by offering a high-quality piece to be auctioned as part of the company’s fundraising campaign : Gwenaël Bélanger, Mario Côté, Manon De Pauw and François Lacasse. These artists have demonstrated remarkable talent in their respective disciplines, paint and photography, as well as in interdisciplinary art through their collaboration with dance, theater, cinema, and music.
